Consumers are finding self service environments where they carry out independent activities easy and more convenient than going out to a shop and purchasing goods themselves. The fact that customers are able to buy their shopping online and get it delivered to their own home from the comfort of their house just shows how much simpler technology has made life in this society.
Buying online means that people will become lazy, and get fat. But yes, it is a very good idea to be able to independently buy your shopping, without having to leave your house. Self service also allows people to feel good about the fact that they're doing it by themselves.
ReplyDeleteA bad point about self-service environments, is that as the online shop increases in profit and grows in popualrity, less people will visit actual shop, which means that the business will have to vut down staff in the shop. This will increase unemployment which isn't good for the counries economy.
ReplyDeleteSelf service environments mean that customers are able to purchase their goods from home without even leaving their seats, this could mean there's a significant impact on the country's current unemployment situation which as you could agree is not good for the economy.
ReplyDeleteThese comments show the positives of self service environments including consumers buying their goods online from home with the simple click of a button, however this simple and effective innovation could possibly lead to heath risks such as obesity if someone relies too much of this environment but also it could lead to unemployment in the retail industry, which isn't good for our country's current unemployment status.
